Understanding our Pillars

Pillars

The mandate of Vuka Africa Foundation (VAF) is to

to facilitate and enable the restoration and rebuilding of Africa through heralding a message of hope, healing and restoration.”

Although the mandate has been translated into different pillars for purposes of ensuring that each programme receives the necessary attention, the pillars are all related to the original mandate i.e. the pillars are all intended to ensure that Africa is rebuilt and restored. As a result, the pillars are intended to function in a mutually reinforcing manner to ensure that the mandate is achieved. The pillars are not intended to be isolated programmes of VAF or the pillars function as silos. The following important pillars of the organisation have been identified:

  • Discipling the Nations

The Discipling the Nations campaign is intended to refocus the church and the nations back to the original commission of both proclaiming the kingdom of God and discipling nations.

  • Healing

The healing pillar is a campaign to bring a wholistic approach to healing because the people of the African continent have been broken, traumatised, and angry from colonisation and other prejudicial policies and systems.

  • Economic Missions

Economic missions are platforms created to ensure that Africans trade with one another and ensure that economic opportunities and benefits accrue to the indigenous people of the African continent.

  • Standing with Israel

The Healing Concerts are intended to bring the important message of healing to the nations through dance, song and other forms of African creative art.

  • Healing Concerts

The Healing Concerts are intended to bring the important message of healing to the nations through dance, song and other forms of African creative art.

  • House of Prayer

VAF intends to establish a House of Prayer in each African nation that will lead prayer for the complete prophetic destiny of each nation.
